Competitions

ELIGIBILITY AND ODDS OF WINNING:

Entrants must be legal residents of the UK and at least 18 years old, unless otherwise specified. Employees of Travel.Radio affiliates, subsidiaries, and successor companies, as well as contest sponsors, advertising agencies, and immediate family members, are ineligible. Immediate family members include spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether by blood, marriage, adoption, or co-habitation. Minors must have parental or guardian consent to participate. By entering, participants agree to the rules outlined, either in addition to or in place of the Official General Contest Rules.

HOW TO ENTER:

Limit one entry per person, per household, unless stated otherwise. Contests are void where prohibited by law. Participants may only win once every thirty (30) days, unless otherwise specified by contest rules. Travel.Radio reserves the right to adjust this time frame for specific contests. The station also reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify contests if circumstances arise that prevent completion as planned. All UK laws and regulations apply.

  • Telephone Entries: Travel.Radio is not responsible for technical issues or disconnections during call-ins.

  • Fax and Mail Entries: Late, misdirected, illegible, or incomplete entries will not be accepted. Travel.Radio is not liable for entries affected by electronic or computer malfunctions.

  • Web Site Entries: Participants must accurately complete all required fields on the website. Travel.Radio is not responsible for website malfunctions or errors. The station is not liable for prizes offered by advertisers on its website.

  • Drop Box Entries: Travel.Radio is not responsible for lost, misplaced, illegible, mutilated, or incomplete entry forms.

PRIZES:

Prizes are detailed in each contest’s specific rules and are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No substitution or cash equivalent will be provided, except at Travel.Radio’s discretion. In the event that a prize is unavailable, Travel.Radio may substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value. If prizes include tickets to a performance or travel accommodations, Travel.Radio is not responsible for cancellations or delays. Winners must accept the risk associated with the safe delivery of prizes.

HOW TO CLAIM PRIZE:

Winners will be selected according to contest rules. They may be required to appear on Travel.Radio shows and website to claim their prize unless alternate arrangements are accepted. Winners must provide proof of age, photo identification, or valid utility bill upon request. Failure to provide satisfactory identification may result in forfeiture of the prize. Additional documents, such as an affidavit of eligibility, may be required before prizes are awarded. Winners have sixty (60) days from the date of announcement to claim their prize, or it may be forfeited.

DISQUALIFICATION AND PENALTIES:

Participants must adhere to contest rules. Travel.Radio reserves the right to disqualify any individual for violating these rules, tampering with the entry process, gaining an unfair advantage, using fraudulent means to win, or engaging in unsportsmanlike behaviour. Resale or auction of prizes will result in disqualification from future contests. Any attempt to disrupt the contest’s normal operation may result in legal action.

PUBLICITY RELEASE:

Participants grant Travel.Radio and contest sponsors permission to use their name, voice, biographical data, and likeness for promotional purposes without further obligation
