Posted by Sue Redmond at Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 12:00am
WHERE IN THE WORLD …..
….. would you like to be right now?

Sadly the pandemic has forced many airlines to bring forward the planned retirement date of these ageing and less cost efficient aircraft.
But for many the Queen of the Skies was the very essence of long-haul travel, a great, glamourous two-storey beast that offered space and comfort.
We pay our own farewell tribute to the Boeing 747 with a fond look back to where it all started.
