ABTA has revealed the full agenda for the 2022 Travel Convention, the UK travel industry’s most forward-looking event, which will take place in Marrakech from October 10-12.
Driven by this year’s theme, Travel’s new landscape, an impressive list of guest experts and leading figures from across the travel industry and beyond will tackle the challenges, lessons and opportunities facing travel businesses in 2023 and beyond.
Through a range of keynote speeches, panel discussions and live Q&As, important topics to be explored include how the changing economic landscape is set to impact people’s appetite for holidays, the sustainability agenda, how to market effectively to a variety of customer profiles, and how to overcome the current recruitment challenge.
The full agenda can be found at thetravelconvention.com/business-sessions.
Beyond the business sessions, networking opportunities include a variety of evening parties and the nightly Convention bars, plus a day for excursions and activities including a golf tournament and ABTA LifeLine’s charity cycle ride.
Mark Tanzer, Chief Executive at ABTA – The Travel Association said: “This year’s Travel Convention once again brings together a brilliant line up of speakers from across our industry and the wider business world, including many whom the travel sector does not normally get to see at industry events. I’m really looking forward to each speaker’s expert insights as to how together we can embrace the new landscape for travel at this critical time for our industry.”
